I received 2 records from my dear cousin Dona for my Bar Mitzvah, and one was America's first record with the huge hit song "A Horse With No Name". The tune and the words were so catchy you'd hear them over and over throughout the day.

Huh???

Paraphrasing Dave Barry's book of bad songs, if you're out in the desert in the hot sun with nothing else to do, NAME THE HORSE!

I still love this song, and saw America live a number of times with great seats from tickets that cousin Dona was able to get for me.
