Notes

A classic anti-war song by the folk singer Phil Ochs who loves to get under your skin. This song goes through the entire history of war and violence that's part of our history, from our wiping out of native Americans to the Civil War to present day (well, almost, it's pretty dated from the 60's). Then he comes up with the last verse -

Now the labor leaders screamin' when they close the missile plant
United Fruit screams at the Cuban shore,
Call it "Peace" or call it "Treason,"
Call it "Love" or call it "Reason,"
But I ain't marchin' any more
