Hey Jude is a beautiful song that Paul wrote to 5 year old Julian Lennon to help console him about his parents divorce. At about 3 ½ minutes, the song transitions from Paul's lyrics into the nah nah nah's at the end. No one thought radio stations would accept the 7 minute song, but again the Beatles broke new ground and paved the way for even longer album tracks to get radio play.
