Notes
I had to include one song by Elton John to represent the period of my life when I listened to every Elton John album almost exclusively. For $5 at K-Mart I bought them all - Honky Chateau, Madman Across the Water, Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player, and the great double album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. This song is the touching tribute to poor Marilyn Monroe, which was brought back to life as a tribute to Princess Diana after her tragic death in 1997, called Goodbye England's Rose.
