Come Together is one of those great Beatles songs that John put together with all kinds of weird words. Others were Strawberry Fields Forever, Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds, and I Am The Walrus.

I wonder how many tried to make some clever interpretation of the lyrics. I think John just had fun putting words together to give us bizarre images. What would a walrus gumboot look like?

Come Together has that cool sound they make in the intro when it sounds like they're saying "Sh-t -" Aerosmith has a great cover version as well.


Soon after the Beatles broke up John wrote one of the true classics, which is in my top 10.
