Notes
Dona G got me some terrific tickets to see David Bowie with some of my college friends in 1978. Dona actually had a seat right across the aisle. It was rare for Dona actually to have the time to enjoy a concert. When Bowie launched into The Jean Genie and the lyrics "let yourself go!" two girls took it very literally and started dancing topless next to us. For a short time they entertained everyone, but Dona would have none of it and had them thrown out of the concert. Good move, Dona, but I'm sure a lot of college boys were disappointed.

Bowie's classic about transitions in life is one of my favorites and in my top 10.
